    Default Neil Wagner

I was watching the Toronto/Atlanta game, and my ears perked up when I heard North Dakota State. They were talking about Toronto pitcher Neil Wagner. He was called up from the minors today. Wagner did pretty good, and Toronto won 3-0.

Here's an article about him: http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2013/5...d-it-at-age-29

    Congrats to Wagner!

He struck out the first two batters he faced and had back-to-back 1-2-3 innings.

He was called up from the Buffalo Bisons.

Why has no local media outlet been reporting this?

I'm sure that the herald is writing an editorial about it as we speak.

Only if there is something nefarious they can dredge up from the past.

They're digging through court records to see if they can find anything to they're liking.

Well, after two weeks of digging and coming up with nothing, they had to put in a small story...

......"Despite being 29 years old, Wagner has a total of 11 appearances at the big league level. But he became a big storyline during Spring Training with his upper-90s velocity, and he hasn't showed any signs of slowing down.

"I worked pretty hard this offseason on changing what I felt like I needed to change from last season to this season," said Wagner, who earned his first career victory after tossing 1 1/3 scoreless innings. "I've just been repeating that, and things have been going well......"
