Yeah Lafayette is a CIT team at best so it helps. Hopefully New Mexico can beat Wyoming tonight, that should knock the Cowboys off the NIT bubble for good.

At this point, i think that the NIT is a pipe dream. Too many schools have autobids and we don't have the resume/rpi to make it.

We have the RPI(our RPI is 69) but we don't really have the profile that can overcome some of the high major teams out there but we are close.

Really hope we are working to get a home game in the CBI. Maybe a team like Wyoming would be a possible match up in that tournament.

Likely NIT Bound Right Now: None
NIT Bubble: North Dakota State Bison
The Bison trailed South Dakota State for the mass majority of the game on Tuesday night in the Summit League, and the end result probably saw them knocked out of the NIT as well. We still find it conceivable for now that NDSU could be in the field of 32, but if we lose a couple more bids due to teams getting automatic slots in the NIT, the Summit League will no longer be represented in this tournament.
