Default Mark Mangino new assistant coach at Youngstown

    http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports...-an-assistant/

"Mark Mangino has been out of coaching since 2009, but his name has made a few appearances in the rumor mill over the past couple of months.

Now, he’s found a landing spot with his alma mater, Youngstown State. Mangino will serve as the Penguins’ assistant (to the) head coach and tight ends coach."

In tribute to the Fat Man and the good old days: NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!!!

Legendary story about Manjello.....As the team was traveling through KC, the bus driver had to pull over at a gas station for some Funions, pork rinds and the like and for directions on how to get to that crap hole they call Mizzou. Mangino asks the clerk how to get to 435 and the clerk replies, "lose 200 pounds."

North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Shya, not like he's a bad coach. Strange how fast he fell out of the coach ranks, not a fat joke. He really ticked off the powers that be in Kansas after making football relevant in Lawrence

Most KU fans would have taken him back with open arms cuz the guy could coach. Mangino pissed off Lou Perkins and the wrong parents and that got him run out of town.

I would also have accepted "rolled out of town".
