The Lewis and Clark plates look like handicapped plates. The L on top of the C looks like a wheelchair. I like the Bison and wheat plates, don't see a need to spend time and money to change.

You Gotsta Love Those BISON!
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.Bob Lutz, The Wichita Eagle, August 30th, 2013
Problem is that frame needs to have the tag cutouts on the bottom, not the top. You would think that the framemakers would consider the needs of MN before creating a frame for Minnesotans. Make it right and that frame will be on his car.
Same problem with the Bison frames that are retailed at Scheels and the Varsity Mart.

Indiana has some crazy law written into the constitution that we need new license plate designs every 4 or 6 years. We also have a crazy number of specialty plates for every university or non-profit organization in the state. There is also a big stink about the next set of designs and it seems the least popular is selected each time. They are now flat plates with printed letters and numbers (no pressing). The license number is big so law enforcement can see it easier (this was actually a stated benefit of the current plate).
I don't think ND has changed much since I lived there 20 years ago. Much smarter!
Minnesota has 2 deers humping for a plate. Can't get much worse than that.
Don't matter. FIVE-PEAT!
Al Carlson will surely amend this bill to also change the state slogan from "Peace Garden State" to "It's the Law!" on the plates.
