Interesting that we are getting kids from Florida. It's a huge transition from Florida to North Dakota. Hope this new crop of athletes adjust better than those in the past.

You always come with great info Burgundy and I do not disagree with Board having all the attributes one would look for in a OLB. But I messaged each recruit and asked them to answer a few questions.
What other schools offered:
Height:
Weight:
Age:
Prim. Position:
Sec. Position:
40 Yard Dash:
Bench Press:
Squat:
Recruiter:
Here are Board's answers.

So his primary is SS and secondary is FS. I would think if the coaches recruited him to play OLB he would note it in either category.
I believe he wants to play safety as Morlock wants to play RB and as Thorton wanted to play QB and the staff will give them every opportunity to succeed at the position they want to play. What happens in the future is another story, but I dont believe he was told that he was being recruited to play OLB
Kid hits like a mack truck, just hope he learns to wrap up more often. Will be fun to see him lighting guys up on saturday
I don’t think anybody has posted this but it looks like the Ravens have signed Chris Board. Great for him. I hope he does well!!!
Go Bison!
Run the damn ball!! PRO FBS
Good luck Chris !!
If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.
