I'm excited for week one, we've got a wide range of OOC matchups:

    Thursday August 29
    Western Illinois hosts Hampton (MEAC)
Illinois State plays at Ball State (MAC)
Indiana State plays at Indiana (Big 10)
Missouri State hosts Northwestern State (Southland)
    Youngstown State hosts Dayton (Pioneer)

    Friday August 30
NDSU plays at Kansas State (Big 12)

    Saturday August 31
Southern Illinois plays at Illinois (Big 10)
South Dakota hosts UC Davis (Big Sky)
    SDSU hosts Butler (Pioneer)
UNI plays at Iowa State (Big 12)

In all, we've got 5 FCS matchups and 5 FBS matchups.

I believe it was a 2 home game for 1 in the tin shed type of deal.

Congrats to the Coyotes for beating UC Davis. It's always good when the worst team in the conference gets an OOC victory, and it's especially sweet against the Big Sky.

Izzo Tweeted that siu dismissed the Iowa transfer running back McCall. I wonder how that will impact their season

Watching Indiana State - Purdue right now. Indiana State is still all about running the ball, and if they can't run they don't move the ball. I hate to say there are FBS schools that NDSU should not play, but I don't think we'd get a whole lot out of absolutely destroying Purdue. They are nowhere close to even a good Big Ten team.

Bison will need to be on their "A" game for the conference Title and home field advantage. Tough schedule....
