The loss of a player should never be considered unless its a 1 person team. That is a moral evalutation, not actual. Just like some skools try to use moral victories...no names

Well after reading how they use it for BPI I'm less of a fan of it.

"*Top players are the five players with highest MPG that have played at least half the team's games this season." - ESPN

So basically any starter misses and it changes the weight of the game. Problem is it goes by minutes played not stat lines so losing Kory Brown who scores 4.2 PPG & 3.1 RPG is weighted the same as losing Braun at 15.2 PPG & 5 RPG. Of course our team is a bad example because everybody has a role and Kory's is not to score but take a team like SDSU or Creighton where guys like Wolters or McDermott being out would be weighted the same as any other starter on their teams where they are head and shoulders above the rest of their team.

Well here we go! Final stretch before the Bracketbuster selection show, although we've fallen in all the rankings, we still lead the Summit in all of them even after losses to SDSU and WIU, but need a couple solid wins this week to guarantee ourselves a great matchup. This should be by far the best game we've gotten in the Bracketbuster so far and what's more exciting is we get that team at home next year. Here's how we stand:

    KenPom: 52 (38)
    Sagarin: 79 (54)
    BPI: 67 (59)
    ESPN RPI: 64 (60)

Well we have made it to the Bracketbuster Selection day. Got a big boost back up in the Kenpom ratings after a couple wins last week, but with very weak opponents our RPI took a little bit of a hit. Excited to see who we get and will be really disappointed if we aren't on TV, I think we've positioned ourselves to get a televised game. Selection show is at 5:30 tonight, I'll be tuning in.

    KenPom: 34 (52)
    Sagarin: 75 (79)
    BPI: 61 (67)
    ESPN RPI: 74 (64)
