Bisonaudit, I know you are out there.
Well lately probably not much since they have been losing games like they are going out of style!

SDSU has a top 25 win against New Mexico, and we are still head of them so guessing not much higher than we are

And in case you didn't know NM is rated higher than UM this week and we are higher than SDSU

Unless I'm wrong in which I'm sure ill get corrected

Approximately .01 better to put us around #53. [(19/23 - 18/23)/4 = 0.0109]* but you also tacked a loss on the Gophs which would negatively impact our ranking, but not by much. I don't want to do the calculations for that part.

Remember, RPI isn't really how you play, it's who you play. Also, as some might have picked up on here, I think it sucks.

*Edit: I needed to drop the non-counters from NDSU's record, so the actual change is 0.0125 from NDSU's record. Adding in a loss to our opponent's record would would drop our score by ~1/400*50%=.00125 (assuming our 20 opponents all played 20 opponents) so we're back to the #53 number. Doing the opponents' opponents' records would probably be a waste of time...

That's what I kind of figured but just had the random thought today.

True but SDSU also lost to a team with an RPI over 310 and USD. Our worst loss is to a middle of the pack Horizon League team, that kind of balances things out.

I think with a win at the Barn our RPI right now would be around 50.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

I'm counting on Bisonaudit for the exact calculation.

Hard to figure, but we did lose to SDSU and WIU, so I think it balances right out..... If we can win our BB game that would say a lot
