    Default Next Up: IPFW

    IPFW -------------------------------------NDSU
    Record: 8-9 (1-2)--------------------------Record: 12-3 (4-0)

    GameDay: Thursday January 10th
    Gametime: 7:00pm

The Bison are off to a tremendous start and are playing a very high brand of basketball. Now that the football team has delivered a Natty Tittle for the second straight season its time to get behind this basketball team and enjoy the success that it can bring. IPFW is led by star Frank Gaines who averages almost 20ppg.

Today's KenPom rankings have North Dakota St. at 39th. That's 5 below Illinois, 3 below UNC, 1 below NC State, & 1 above Iowa.

    GO BISON!

I must say I was very pleased listening to the USD game on the radio on the way to Frisco and also with the result of the UMKC game. Domination on the road in league play is something this team has not done before and I now fully belive this team is for real. Interested to see how we match up in the WIU game coming up and Oakland could be a test on Saturday but I really think it's a 3 horse race this year with us leading the way. Sure SDSU lost to USD this weekend but with Wolters leading the way they'll be tough in March. Let's get this sweep at home and keep the energy rollin from Frisco!

Am I the only one here who considers NDSU 11-3 because of two non-DI wins?? ESPN.com is even listing overall standing vs. DI teams only for every team.

“Never underestimate the toughness of being raised on a pig farm,” Phillips said. “Certainly it’s somewhat genetic but it’s been ground in by repetition as well.”
Saul gives the best one liners in the NDSU athletic department.
