Great game and nice crowd (although it was pretty dead until Saul got the place going. Love that guy!).
Man just think about this game being in the new SHAC, that project needs to get done ASAP!
For the game:
LA- Mr Clutch, just a flat out winner. We could have easily bended at the end but he played brillantly in the closing 4 minutes. Also played all 40 mins!
Bjorklund: Just a beast, SDSU had zero answers for him, hes going to command doubles all year, because if you dont he will kill you. Free throws were a problem tonight for him which is strange becuase hes usually one of our best.
Braun: Tough game for him, SDSU really played some great defense on him but he stepped up in the second half and made some big plays.
Tray: Thought played a very solid game, took smart shots and his length and defense is a major problem down low.
Brown: Battled all night, as a freshman he took on the toughest assignment and I thought did very well. Yes Wolters had a great game but Brown made him work for it.
Free throws were a major disappointment tonight and almost costed us the game. Luckily we did just enough to overcome it.
Keep packing the BSA, this is a solid team and they are pretty exciting to watch!
We have a really good team. There is no reason we shouldn't win the conference. I'm sold.
Nice, nice win! Very impressed with Wolters. He seemed comfortable facilitating the O in the first half, and yet still got his points. In the 2nd half, seemed to me SDSU used more pick-n-roll with Wolters looking near unstoppable. No wonder 6' 8" Dykstra had been shooting about 49% from 3 range for SDSU, with the play-making off the pick-n-roll. Was also impressed with how Wolters was able to keep LA in front of him on D.......until those last few minutes when LA had at least 2 big drives to the basket.....really took the game over when it was needed. Saul saved the 5th foul on Brown and was able to make a couple of offense-defense switches on time-outs (he did not save any to's, fortunately did not need one at the end). By getting Brown back in on Wolters, on Wolter's last drive he did not look near so comfortable doing it, missed the shot under pressure and Brown got the rebound - huge. Marshall Bjorklund - wow - a young McHale!
Lots of folks in the student section - mostly full - lots of football players (and coaches) in attendance.
Brock almost looked embaressed when they put him on camera.

Great game. Fully expect to see these two teams playing to go to the big dance. Need a new facility fast.
Great game might have been one of the best games in BSA history.
Fun game to watch. The Bison have a nice team, hope to turn it around at Frost.
