Morehead State Part 2 12-21

The Bison men are in action Friday Night at the BSA against Morehead State from OVC. The two teams met earlier this season at Morehead State and the Bison rolled to a victory. It would be great to see a nice crowd there Friday Night. The Bison men are quietly putting together a solid season at 9-3 and certainly look to be a force in the Summit League. So take the time to come out and enjoy some basketball and cheer the Bison on as we patiently wait for Frisco!

Morehead State is getting acclimated to winter in the Dakotas. Losing to South Dakota Yotes 85-75 on Wed.
It might be a long game.....
"South Dakota made a program-record 43 free throws"
"Morehead State had committed more fouls than any other program through 10 games. The Eagles added 32 infractions Wednesday which resulted in 50 free-throw attempts for South Dakota."

The first Morehead State game thread talked of their coach, his wanting physical play, and his ESPN
meltdown moment for which he was suspended a game.

USD is 5-7 on the season, this and a win over IUPUI being what look like their best wins so far.

I just saw a tweet* saying their bus driver had been fouled 14 times between the hotel and the game. Fortunately for Morehead St, he missed all his free throw attempts because the ceiling of the bus is so low and the basket was way in the back. The bus driver still won the game though.



*This is not at all true. The bus driver actually made 1 of his free throw attempts.

In past seasons I would agree with you, I would be worried about this team being ready for this game but so far this season the team has come ready to play in pretty much every game except Green Bay of course. They will be excited to be playing at home again, with no football this weekend hopefully there will be a good crowd hungry for a Bison victory and I think we come out aggressive and win this one by 15-20.

Really awesome article by Jeff in the paper today about the team. I really hope that after we win Frisco Bison Nation gets behind this team. We have a very talented team and there is a lot to be excited about. Hope to see a good crowd tonight, the students wont be there but hopefully people can get out and cheer on the herd tonight!
