I know it's football playoffs and I'm just as jacked up as everyone else, but our hoops team is also kicking off a big 6 game stretch here in December starting Wednesday night that can really set the tone for the rest of our season. It all starts with Morehead St., an OVC team that hung with Kentucky and is usually a strong Mid-Major year in and year out. Would be a nice OOC win for the herd. Hopefully the FB team will roll Wofford on Saturday and then our hoops team can take over the dome and roll UND on Sunday, would be a great weekend for Bison athletics. Then games with Minnesota, Townson (of the CAA), Morehead St again at home and then game 1 against the Bunnies. If the hoops team goes at least 4-2 (hopefully better) during this stretch could build up a lot of momentum going into Summit league play.

Both Big Sky and OVC stream for free. The Summit and MVFC really need to get with it. I don't get why they don't stream, its not that hard and would increase ad revenue and exposure for fanbase that can't go to games.

Morehead State is 4-4 with a non DI win.

They've beaten Norfolk, LIU Brooklyn and Lafayette.

They lost to Maryland, Kentucky, Marshall and Wright State.

I'm thinking this will be a good game and hopefully we come out on top. It will be good to see how we do against an OVC basketball team.

Need to be smart with the ball and strong. Cant turn the ball over and get out of control. This is a game where another ball handler would be nice, because Morehead St is going to get after us and be physical and gaurd the ball. LA and Braun are going to have to do a good job protecting the ball and getting us into our offense. They are averaging over 10 steals a game with 82 on the season, we have 46 on the season. They are prone to turn the ball over though, so our defense should help us.

They havent been playing great since their coaches suspension and hopefully that continues. Should be a good road test for us.
