    91. North Dakota State
    Predicted Pythagorean winning percentage: .708
The team had the largest gap in the Summit League between its actual points per possession output and its points per effective (turnover-less) possession number. That means a ton of their possessions were wasted by committing turnovers.

    Huh? Who would have thought?

    77. South Dakota State Predicted Pythagorean winning percentage: .734 For the first time since the Summit expanded into the Dakotas, Prospectus is projecting South Dakota State and North Dakota State to finish No. 1 and 2. The power axis of the conference is now firmly in the Dakotas, as evidenced by NCAA tournament appearances, television deals, and the location of the league tournament. Both programs have done a stand-up job of scouring Minnesota and the Dakotas for the best players who were previously overlooked due to the lack of any D-I programs in much of that area. Both SDSU and NDSU are stacked with talented guys from that region who stayed close to home and will make their teams tough to beat in 2012-13.

** a little off topic but i gotta point out the SDSUs roster competition
(sdsu kicks our ass on all levels)
SDSU women- every player on their roster are from Sd or Mn
NDSU - 6 Minn, 1 ND, 2 canada, 2 nebraska, 1 iowa, 1 california (siu transfer) and a juco from texas

Bison men ; best roster had the fab 4, andre smith from Minnesota and Tveit from SD
We always have solid teams. We always hit up Minnesota and Wisconsin well.

    Current rosters... (teams are close)

NDSU - 3 ND, 4 wi, 4 MN, 2 Ill, 1 Iowa, and of course Taylor Braun from Oregon.
SDSU - 6 from SD, 1 MN (of course the best is Wolters), 2 Iowa, 1 Illinois, 1 OK.. but whats weird is this year they got 3 players from foreign countries and already had another. Hopefully they are being stupid.

Get the core players from the area. Redshirt. Develop. SDSU is doing a better job of developing players. Think back to Ben Woodside... wasn't heavily recruited and had a terrible jump shot. Saul developed him and we get a stud. It's tough to do that when we're having to play freshman. If I remember correctly Woody, Nelson, and Winkelman all redshirted
