Last call for submitting picks for Week 2 Summit League action. I have 3 newcomers this week and they are all Jackrabbit fans. I appreciate them and have plenty of room for more players. Week 2 is now history. I see a lot of RED on the leader board thanks to the Bison victory over the Jackrabbits. Western Illinois fan PurplePride40 took the 10 point StatPick jackpot. Your very own BisionBohl fared well in the PowerPick. Yours truly with a slight lead going in to Week 3. This week's PowerPick matchup is the Omaha and Fort Wayne Men. The USD/SDSU Ladies game will be the StatPick (combined Free Throw ATTEMPTS).

Congrats on a great championship victory in FCS. Lets keep it in the MVFC for years to come but it might be nice to share once in a while.

Week 4 in progress. PowerPick is Oakland at SDSU. StatPick is Oakland at NDSU (Combined Points in the Paint). Two pretty good paint patrollers in Petros and Bjorklund going at it. Should be a good one.

Moving on to Week 5. Hey, I am running out of fingers and toes. Nobody got the "Points in the Paint" Jackpot in Week 4 so Week 5 Jackpot stands at 30 bonus points. I made this week an easy one. Simply predict the combined assists for Nate Wolters and Ceola Clark in SDSU@WIU Thursday night game and you could capture all or part of those 30 bonus points and become my first "Lucky Devil" award winner. Leatherneck and Bison fans will also be extremely interested in the Week 5 PowerPick matchup. First time players are still and will always be welcome to play. In addition to the Lucky Devil awards, this week I am going to start awarding certificates to the "Player of the Week", not much but a little something that you can show off to your friends.

Week 6 in progress. Unlike the weather, Summit League action is heating up. Lots of interest in bracketbuster matchups coming in late February. FYI, I will be including those games and will try to come up with something special for them.

Well, it's the day of the "Big Game" and a lot of wings and other goodies will be consumed before all is said and done. If you happen to like Buffalo Wild Wings food, now may be the time to hop in and play Roundball Roulette. Starting this week, I will be awarding the weekly point total winners with a $25 gift certificate to BWW. Pistol-pete has relinquished the overall point lead to Week 7 Player of the Week Rabbit74 heading to Week 8, which should be an interesting one. Oakland can do the Leathernecks a huge favor and will be hosting the Bison in the StatPick matchup (Total Ties + Lead Changes) as well as the Jackrabbits in the PowerPick. There was no winner of last week's StatPick Jackpot so it is sitting at a hefty 30 bonus points right now. Even the inexperienced newcomers will be in excellent shape to capture the BWW gift certificate should they nail that StatPick prediction. Last meeting in Fargo, the Bison led the Grizzlies throughout so there were exactly zero ties plus lead changes in the game. Who knows what will happen on Kampe's court. Heading to Week 9 and down the home stretch. This week will go a long way in determining conference tournament seed positions. WIU @ NDSU is the StatPick ("Combined Team Blocks") and WIU @ SDSU is the PowerPick.

For next week, the BracketBuster games will be handled like this: The game involving the #1 Summit League team (based on current standing along with RPI Rank if necessary) will be the designated PowerPick game. The StatPick will be "Combined Attendance for ALL Summit League BracketBuster games". The player coming closest WITHOUT GOING OVER will win the StatPick Jackpot bonus points which could be as many as 50 if no one wins it this week.

Just a heads up - first game is on Wednesday this week. Also, the StatPick is combined attendance for the BracketBuster games, closest without going over. I did some homework for you (see the StatPick Help sheet). Jackpot is 50 points so whoever gets that StatPick right will likely, barring meteors falling from the sky, win the BWW gift certificate.
