Two years ago, Mark Hendrickson was the runner up for the Eddie Robinson Award as the National FCS Football Coach of the Year.

Today...he is out of a job.

Hendrickson spent 14 years on staff in Macomb...the last three as the Leathernecks Head Coach, as well as two interim stints with the program when Don Patterson fell ill. The last two years have been Hendrickson's undoing as the Leathernecks have finished with just five total wins in 22 games and have won just two Missouri Valley Conference Games in two years. He exits the program with an 18 and 32 mark overall.
