If your goal was a FG attempt from the 30, 3 running plays would have been fine calls, but it was passing that got them inside the 30. Play to win and keep care of the ball.

    Playcalling? Blah. Execute.

We couldnt run the ball and we were trying to win. Nothing wrong with passing and winning in my opinion. Just didnt make the plays all day long.

Agreed! Not to mention the play before Brocks 3rd pick he overthrew a wide open Gebhart that would have been the go ahead score! Brock was staring down the recievers today and...the recievers were not getting seperation either, which probably worries me the most going foreward!

^^^^This. Their corners crowded our WR all game and we never once tried to keep them honest with an out and up move. We missed an opportunity there. We dropped some passes and missed receivers. We just aren't used to seeing that out of our passing game and we take dominating the line of scrimmage for granted. Being exposed this game just made the coaches jobs a lot harder. Feels like a flashback to last season when our offense was a continual concern.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

This was more Brock's fault than Vigen's. Ask Brock I bet he tells you he did not have a good game at all.

Vigen didn't call a great game but he also didn't throw two TDs to the opposing team either. The loss was on Brock but it happens, every QB has bad games. He just needs to hit the film room, figure things out and be ready to shred the Yotes next week

    Does he call the plays?

Yeah, and players either execute them (or not.) Vigen doesn't call plays with one eligible receiver and if somebody is triple covered, somebody is wide open, either another receiver or the QB run.
