does anyone know if NDSU has ever run stanford style super-heavy packages? The O-line has typically been a strength, so it would probably be something they could pull off.

"Save season"??? Are people seriously giving up on the season already? We have, without question, the best defense in the FCS. Our QB threw 3 interceptions (his first 3 of the year), 2 of which went for TD's, and we still had a legitimate chance to win the game without having caused any turnovers. Is there anyone on this forum that honestly thinks that us being -3 in the turnover battle is going to be a common occurrence from here on out? With the defense we have, we don't need to have a spectacular offense to win games. We need to have an offense that doesn't make big mistakes, and that is what they had done up until Saturday. Obviously it was nice when our offense was scoring 40-50 points, but offenses seem to have more off days than defenses. It just so happens that our offense had one of the poorest performances in many years, but we still had a chance to win against a very good team. I highly doubt the offense will have another performance that poor the rest of this year. Before we start talking about how we need to save the season, I think we need to ask ourselves if there is any other team in the FCS that we would rather have than this Bison team.

How about blaming the defense for not getting off the field faster?? How about special teams coverage on the opening kickoff?? Or our line not blocking very well or this or that, etc?? Players and coaches didn't perform well enough today plain and simple.

Can't blame the defense on this AT ALL. They held them to 3 offensive points. The offensive line got beat. BAD. They were more physical and took it to Jensen. O-line didnt give Jensen enough time to throw. Offense had an off day. They will bounce back, we've seen them perform well all season.

honest question, does ndsu have a up and out play in the playbook? with a pumpfake? walker is probably the last qb to do that.

if next you tell me that somehow they are using Al Gore's internet to scout each other or communicate.....i will never watch organized sports again. It just feels.....so.....DIRTY.
