I sat out the next weeks game, then suited up, but only played one play the next game, and started again the following week. Even when I started, I was not 100% and even to this day, I can tell the shoulder is separated and it hurts when weather comes in. It is a nagging deal and he will need to work on strengthening it to get back to 100%. I'd think WR is a pretty good position to be playing with the injury, until he has to block or takes another shot there.
Yeah, that injury can take awhile to heal depending on the grade. I had an amazing crash off of a huge jump snowboarding out at Big Sky resulting in a terrible separation when I was a sophomore in high school. It was a couple weeks before I could use a pencil without having to write on my lap, and I missed an entire season of baseball (catchers with bum throwing shoulders aren't worth a whole lot). Just the fact that they're already using the word "questionable" for Zach tells me there was not a terrible amount of damage done. Also, his fitness level will be a huge asset in his recovery.

PL, when someone refers to a separated shoulder, this is a term used specifically for the AC joint. As opposed to a dislocated shoulder which is assumed to be the glenohumeral joint.
Yep. That is what I should have said in the first place.

And now that he has injured those ligaments that weakest link in the chain just became weaker and he will probably be set up for further injuries to the area. As you know it all depends on the level to which it is injured now. He will get the motion back and pain level down hopefully in a short period time but unfortunately ligaments are notorious slow healers and if or actually more than likely when he gets back on the field this year he is going to be at a higher risk for further injury to that area. NDSU medical staff will do a excellent job at getting it healed and stabilized but they can't stop that next hit or fall on the ground from "testing" that joint. When the shoulder Gods were handing out Shoulders poor Zach must have been in the hands of glue line heck he may have went through that line twice.

I wish he would have gone through the hands of glue line three times as then we probably win the ISU game as Brocks long pass that he dropped was kind of a crucial mistake.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

I can't remember a player have such shit luck with one part of his body. He's going to have to avoid upper body hits as much as possible with how things have gone. Does this mean Wahlo will get some catches?

    You made a funny!!!!!!!

He takes reverses that is about all. Heck he is fast though. We should insert him into the lineup for some run plays and run a fly pattern over and over just to wear out the D back for the starters.

I would assume Okland will see the field more.

Correct. For some reason I equated the two together which confused me for a short period of time. Being an x-ray tech I should have know better.

Thats why I threw the softball up. Guess I should have been more clear. I must be losing my touch.
