    Sounds like it is time to do some serious voodoo on this whole premise. I will try to get my hands on some animal skulls and spleens in order to perform the required rituals.

    Speaking of Joe Mauer, I tried jinxing Miguel Cabrera the last couple of weeks, by saying he was a lock for the triple crown. Well the jinx didn't work, and Mauer didn't win the batting title, so I quit believing in them.
