Coworker (UMN guy): Yeah, and we're still unranked. We didn't even get a vote!

I actually listened to the game Saturday while working and I think shortell might be the future. Haven't enjoyed a gopher game where I have been cheering for them in a long time.

(technically speaking, you could have an unranked team in the rose bowl, right? Say the B10 or Pac-12 conferences have so little respect that even the champion doesn't get ranked?)

It will be a bad decisions to put gray back in at QB. but they will. Shortell is a much better passer.

He's a talented runner. They could use him in certain situations but Shortell really is the better QB. And the rumor is true. Minnesota actually played defense Saturday night. I saw it!

Agreed. Im tired of hearing how talented and athletic he is. He sure is...but he can't throw the ball. So maybe his talent/athleticism might be better used elsewhere on the field.
