After watching some of the game, I'm less confident than I was prior.

Watch closer Gully, CU is a terrible team and CSU's O didn't look very impressive at all.

After watching the game on Sat. I am as confident in a Bison victory as I was before, but it is apparent the game will be low scoring as both D's are tough.

I am going to say 24-17. We get our 7 point win.. with our new and improved passing game, and Vigen opening up the playbook.

I don't expect Vigen to show anything with conference play coming up. First two games are UNI and Youngstown St. I would think Vigen would like to save his back pocket plays for those games.

The idea this game is "less" important is BS. FBS wins help get you into the playoffs and are great for exposure. I admit, not quite as big as the MN game last year, but if you are Vigen, you use your best stuff.

I agree -- if your season goal is to win a conference championship, CSU is way less important than the others.

Conference Champioship has to be a goal for any team. You win your conference, you are in the playoffs, you don't have to rely on the FBS game you played. Don't get me wrong, FBS games are great for fans and are a good measuring stick for a team. But in the big picture, FBS game does take a back seat to conference games.
