I agree completely. People assume that everyone should be treated the same, in reality, as you said, treating people differently is sometimes the "fair" thing to do. It depends on circumstances, timing, history, etc.
Because disciplinary issues are mostly gray area, it is important to have a "judge"/coach who understands this and is discerning enough to see what is needed. I feel confident as a booster and an alumnus in putting my trust in Coach Bohl to make the decision that is "fair" to everyone concerned.
