North Dakota State University head football coach Craig Bohl announced today that linebacker Brandon Jemison has been dismissed from the team for violation of team rules.



FARGO - North Dakota State University head football coach Craig Bohl announced today that linebacker Brandon Jemison has been dismissed from the team for violation of team rules.
Jemison, a 6-foot-1, 217-pound senior from Fargo, N.D. (South H.S.), played in all 40 games during his first three years including 27 starts.
He had 185 tackles in his career including 91 solos, nine tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Mustve been serious given the fact linebacker depth really sucks right now. We needed his leadership but getting kicked off the team shows a lack of leadership. Between Jemison and Don Carter being lost weve seen a significant hit on depth.

Ouch...This one hurts, especially with LB being thin.

Obviously it was something major and in Bohl I trust.

If you have to look for a positive, he was coming off of a 2nd surgery and apparently running slow and was going to be playing a limited role at best. Not his fault on the 2nd injury. He was listed as the #5 backer behind Dinwiddie and was seeing reps in the middle.

Need Antonio Rogers to get his hammy healed quickly. Need Anthony Lavoy to build on a solid spring game. Probably need a freshman linebacker to play on special teams.

Swift action by Bohl so must have been serious. Hate to see this stuff happen but if kids can't get with the program, they need to go before it snowballs.
