Default How many season tickets will be sold by next August?

By August 2, 2011, NDSU had sold 9300 season tickets (up 200 from 2010.) So how many do you think will be sold by August, 2012? Votes are public.

Edit: Sorry about the typo (should be "pissed off" not "pissed of" but I can't figure out how to edit the poll.

I'm always wrong on these things, so I'm going to be optimistically wrong. Increase of about a thousand.

I voted 10401-10600 but I could see snozberries if we win the chipper.

Went for the kahuna but wondering what the maximum number of season tickets NDSU would sell would be. Doubt they'd put 'em all up for sale.

So you would limit the number of season tickets to allow for individual purchases? Isn't that like limiting the number of allotted tickets for each team to allow other people to purchase as well? Both are very valid ticket sales strategies. If there is a limit of season tickets they would sell I think it would be above 10k.

Let's see: 7 sections are for students. 4.5 sections for GA. 8 sections for reserved seating. 1 section for visitors. 13 sections for TM. (adds up to 33.5 sections because section 24 is only a half section.)

I'm guessing around 12500 could be sold as season tickets right now. If they need more, they could convert a GA section to TM/Reserved.

I do like your "Yogi Berra" quote for the 8000-9000 category...

A couple years ago I had way too much time on my hands. Here is the breakdown of current seats:

    Code:
     6929 - TM reserved
     2152 - Non-TM reserved sideline
     2079 - Non-TM reserved end zone
    11160 - Total reserved

     2584 - General admission
    13744 - Maximum season tickets

      506 - Visitor section
      288 - Suites
14538 - Total seats available for sale

      400 - Approximate SRO tickets
14938 - Approximate max ticket sales

     3913 - Student tickets
    18451 - Max capacity w/o SRO
    18851 - Max capacity w/ approx SRO

No handicap or press seats included
I don't know why there's a discrepancy between my numbers and the 18.7k and 19.2k number that are always thrown around. My numbers come from the building plans on the FD website. I actually counted the number of seats in each section to come up with my numbers. I might be a tiny bit off in some of the sections because the plans on the website are from before the addition of the northside suites. Still, they're damned close.

Like I said, way too much time on my hands back then.

*I* wouldn't limit them until the building was full. But I'm not them.

I heard from a higher up teammaker that there are only 65 seats left as of now. People are really really interested in this team...could we see a season ticket waiting list in the next few years?
