    Default Jeff Dubay

Jeff did a radio interview today on WCCO talking about his trials and tribulations. Most know him from the PA and Dubay show. Got caught up in some bad shit. I really liked him on the show and feel it isn't as good without him. Hope he gets a chance somewhere on the dial

Agreed. I thought he was the ying to PA's yang...they sort of balanced each other out. I liked JG on the show but PA is too strong willed(full of himself??) to let JG fly...but I digress. Too bad, but hopefully he's got his stuff figured out.

Sort of. Working for the flagship station of the Packers would have been a dream job, but I get what your saying.

Exactly. I hate when he starts talking about something he has no clue about. I have to turn the station sometimes, especially when he was with JG always telling him to "calm down"...

I burnt out on PA the last 3-4 yrs....I can take it in regulated doses....I can't take breaking down Vikings O-Line in June, the hipster lingo, the constant 70's R & B(I like some of it, just freshen it up)....NFL/Vikings is his crutch and he uses that crutch way too much. I know PA wasn't too happy when JG started on Barreiro's show. It was a drive time power move. The producer PA has now is just brutal.

Also, loved Dubay for his disdain for the sue. He is such a rube and it worked for him on the radio

Tiny Joe Nelson? Yeah, he's definitely no JG. I think PA is just hard on producers because of his attitude and style of the show. JG fits so much better with Bump...frankly, it's become my favorite show. I don't mind the Vikings talk in June(Florio segment is my favorite of the week), it's better than Wild/hockey talk from 11-12...and I'm sorry, I'm sure Denard is a nice guy, but get him off the radio. One has to think his ratings have dropped since Dubay, which is why they've tried so many new things on his show since Dubay was fired.

Agreed. His rube nature is what made him such a good part of the show. Plus, he corrected PA when he started to talk about subjects he was clueless about...and rarely spoke about something he didn't know about himself.

Yes. His interviews are even more painful than Dan Hammer's.
