I am glad you are happy with where UND hoops is at. Sounds similar to when we won the National Championship in football and UND fans said that "we have the nickle." I am looking at the big picture. Losing to UND was a low point, during a horrible year. Saul's team needs to bounce back this year.

It says a lot about the mindset of how each fan base views the programs coming out of transition. NDSU's biggest win's that time were nationally ranked Wisconsin and TOP TEN Marquette. UND's biggest win was beating a .500 team at home.

By your logic then, Last year's Duke basketball team was worse than Lehigh since they lost to them in the tournament. Sometimes even a great team can play like poor and lose to anybody. If that can happen to one of the top 10 teams in the country, if most certainly happen to a NDSU. Winning 59-54 means both teams shot the ball bad and UND was a little better that day. The point that was made above was that NDSU can point to wins vs. 2 ranked teams, including one top 10 ranked team as 2 of their signature wins in their DI era and UND can only point to beating NDSU since their wins are against teams who, much like themselves, are ranked near the bottom of all of DI basketball.

Know anything about basketball? Mid-majors have ups and downs. A dissappointing year or even two isn't unusual. Especially when you have the glory years with Nationally Recognized victories and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

How's it feel for UND fans to not have experienced ANY significant success? Sorry if that hurts.

As long as Muss is coaching there, whenever we play them in the future, they won't have almost any chance of beating us. I can't see a Mussman coached UND team having any chance against NDSU.
