In my pretrial practice class we did "depositions" and we got that answer quite regularly. Had to use our materials to refresh their memories!

We were also advised by our professors (SEC attorneys) to instruct our "clients" to not answer questions unless they were positive about the answer....or rather say "I dont recall" or something similar.

Not sure how it works in the real world or how different MTG's hearing was, I've heard her talk enough times I would rather not subject myself to that.

I'd defer to CAS and those who have actually been through that process hundreds of times though obviously.
