Craig Haley usually does some top-notch work covering the FCS but this just blows my mind. Marcus was pretty much a consensus All-American and was clearly a huge part on the country's best defense last season, not to mention the title. How does he sneak in to a list like that?

Haley in my opinion is pretty hit and miss(but TSN has been that way for a few years now), he does a good job writing stories about games and big FCS related events but his player evaluations/rankings and FCS playoff bracketology have been pretty underwhelming to say the least.

Honestly if you want to look at how players rank SmallCollegeFBFan(who is an NFL scout) posts on CS.com and AGS. He has Marcus as a Buck Buchanan contender and a preseason All-American, which basically means he is a top 4 DB in the FCS.

Looks to me like they're alphabetical...

This list is crap. Didn't see Mollberg or UNC-to-UND transfer QB mentioned at all...this list, I repeat, is GARBAGE.

That and its not even his top 10. It's one DB from each conference to watch.

That's not true. The box has the best DB in a conference, but the list is his top ten. For example, TJ Lee is the best in the Big Sky, but not in the top 10. The best DB of the MEAC, Ohio Valley, Patriot and Pioneer are also NOT on his top 10 list. There are also three DBs from the Southland conference, just like there were several MVFC QBs in his top 10 QB list.

So, sorry SR, but the list is his top ten DB list, although you are right, it is alphabetical.

I personally would not trade anyone on the NDSU DL for another player in FCS, I think they are that good. You'd think one of them would make TSN top 10 list. Nope.

I didn't expect there to be any NDSU WRs on the top ten list, but I am surprised that two from EWU made the list. Ya think those two will light up that superb defensive backfield of the Whioux this year?

    Good call.

Our defense will be tough for any team or RB this year, including Bell.

He will not sniff 100 yds against our defense.
