    Default Fargo Marathon 5k

If anyone is in Fargo on May 18th, please sign up for the 5k event. The goal is 10,000 participants, and they (should say "we", since we all have ties to the F-M area) are 3,000+ short. If we hit the goal, 1,000 pairs of shoes will be donated to kids in the area that need them. Dakota Medical Foundation and BCBS are giving a lot of matching dollars in this push.

You don't have to run. My wife and I are doing this with my 63 year old Mom, and we are just going to walk it. There is no way she can run it, but she is excited to be part of this event. It's only 3.1 miles, just an easy stroll in the park. It is a $30 entry fee, but a lot of good comes out of this charity event.

I'm already signed up as are Mrs. Tatanka and our offspring. Rest assured that none of us will be actually running.

Wish I was going to be in town that weekend. I'd love to participate in some part of that, one of these years.

I'm already signed up. I'll be the almost 40, chubby guy finishing in about 6,973rd place.
