    You are absolutely correct about this and it is amazing how much they absorb and hold onto. My son is 7 and has been to every home game the last 6 years and has watched MANY road games on TV. It is unreal the different tidbits they remember. He remembers the Paschall jump and spin TD like it was yesterday or the Mertens fumble on the 1 against ISU. His favorite player now is DJ as he wears his #8 jersey EVERYWHERE and pretends he is him as he plays football all the time bouncing off of furniture and running threw his younger sisters sometimes The funniest part is he came up to me once and said dad I really don't like the Gophers and the Sioux. Gophers is understandable but it's hilarious because he's never seen us play UND in any sport let alone as many times as the rest of us have watched that game. Definitely once a Bison always a Bison.
