They took very good Gonzaga and West Virginia teams to the wire on the road.
That makes them decent. They lost to UTSA. Gonzaga and West Virginia were losses. Texas Tech is 7-12. Their one quality win over Xavier came with half the team suspended.

SDSU is a quality win, Missouri State is quality win. Winning on the road at WIU and Oakland are good wins and so is beating NDSU. ORU might win 30 games, they are a bit better than decent.

CBS also thinks ORU is pretty good....

Other than 2009, what has that got us? One and done in the Summit Tourney consistently? Pretty similar to our DII years.

Ask 1,000 North Dakota residents the difference between NDSU and UND basketball. No separation is apparent at the current time. Did we give back the 5 years?

Northern Colorado has a more recent NCAA Tourney appearance than we do. I thought they were a horrible program.

So, where are we? We're young and WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR. We'll show em then. I've been hearing that about the women's program for a long time.

I want to see something THIS year. One and done in the SL Tourney will be a gigantic FAIL. It better not happen with all this supposed talent. Young or not.
We sucked last season. We sucked the year before. This season has already shown more promise than either of those teams combined and the record shows it. I guess I don't understand how a "Bison fan" can call out a team for failing in the conference tourney when that is two months away. I am not waiting until next year. This team will compete for a Summit crown and I expect them to at least make the conference tourney finals in March.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Bison03 again.

But, but, but Women's Basketball and exhibition loss to MSUM.

Those are decent wins making them a decent team. Where will the Summit be next year when ORU leaves?

Then we expect almost the same thing. I'm tired of waiting. I expect to see progress and that means getting past the first round.

I'm a big believer in trends. Our overall record since the Fab 4 left is worse than SDSU. Yeah, we haven't lost to them. I get it. That's not enough to keep me satisfied. The payoff comes in Sioux Falls. We've been coming up woefully short recently.

They are a very a good team, with one bad loss and some solid wins. Where will the Summit be next year? Not sure, depends on if other programs step up or not. ORU will be down next year but even when they are down they are decent so there will be an impact in losing what was at least one decent team.

ORU and SUU will no longer be Summit teams. Only replacement is 1st year transitional UNO. I would expect that the Summit RPI as a conference from this year will drop back into the high teens to low 20's.

USD has some growing to do, and UMKC, this season, has been nailed with injury bug like WIU was last year. Expect UMKC 2012-13 to more closely match their RPI/results of 2010-11 than this season.
