It looked to me like we tried several times. Missed layups when Braun drove the lane and an LA turnover thwarted a number of our attempts. Mental mistakes.

Most of those were really contested runners don't you think? It wasn't like he just drove the basket uncontested and banked an attempted layup too hard off the backboard.

Yes, that's a better way of putting it. We've seen Braun take over with that kind of play and he couldn't do it last night. Obviously the biggest thing this team needs to work on in addition to a consistent offensive gameplan is a clear number-two to take over when Braun can't pour it in like he has this season (I think he had a 4-of-5 stretch where he scored 20+ points a few games ago).

That'll come along. This starting lineup has two years ahead of it and it's put together a 13-5 record in their first year together - that's something to whistle at.

I just hate that some fans take it waaaay to far when they are looking for the coaches head and saying we are going the wrong direction. We are 13-5 people!! That is a good record for a young team. Saul and his staff are great coaches. They know what to do to right the ship. I have all the confidence in the world that we can finish strong and make a run in sioux falls.
11-5 unless you count D2 wins. The only thing propping up our record is the low quality competition. ORU and SDSU are the only decent teams we play all year.

Oh look here is spongebob with his usual dose of negativity.

WIU is pretty solid, Oakland is playing better so maybe they've turned things around. ORU is a hell of a lot better than decent.

You forgot how we demolished Moorhead. (but, there's an excuse. It was an exhibition and we weren't really trying)

Other than 2009, what has that got us? One and done in the Summit Tourney consistently? Pretty similar to our DII years.

Ask 1,000 North Dakota residents the difference between NDSU and UND basketball. No separation is apparent at the current time. Did we give back the 5 years?

Northern Colorado has a more recent NCAA Tourney appearance than we do. I thought they were a horrible program.

So, where are we? We're young and WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR. We'll show em then. I've been hearing that about the women's program for a long time.

I want to see something THIS year. One and done in the SL Tourney will be a gigantic FAIL. It better not happen with all this supposed talent. Young or not.

ORU's only quality win is over a suspended Xavier team.

They beat us and SDSU did they not? They beat Missouri State, they beat WIU on the road and beat Oakland on the road. They demolished Texas Tech. Are you really this clueless?

They took very good Gonzaga and West Virginia teams to the wire on the road.
