Colorado College is D3. Concordia would have to add a D1 women's sport (CC sponsorts DI soccer).

You need to be DI or in a league which doesn't sponsor hockey (DII) in order top play DI hockey. Colorado College and a few other DIII's were grandfathered in.

Maybe Concordia can drop down to NAIA like where the Who may end up-->NO??!! Also, is UND actually D1 in FB??!! I checked their schedule from last year and it was difficult to tell!!

d1 hockey would be sweet, but i think theyre normally pretty bad at the d3 level, i dont know how theyd ever compete moving up

Yes, just like when MSUM made its major announcement that they were (again) considering D1 butthockey are were continuing to look for funding options. Must be a slow day in the sports news business I guess.

They have been good since hiring Coach Howe, who won coach of the year in the MIAC last year. They are second in the conference right now.
