Recent article in the Chicago Sun Times compares the potential for the Illinois class of 2013 to match the 1986 class, which had 141 D1 football players. Appears there will be a lot of
very good O linemen.

From Wissports database, there are approximately 320 players in the class of 2013 who currently weigh 250# or more.

I think I posted this article earlier this year but feel it bears repeating. I really hope we are involved with Jack, he seems to be the kind of student/athlete we want in the program.

Keep in mind, that is not necessarily a good thing. If body fat % was part of that statistic, would tell us a bit more. I know plenty of old high school lineman that were 250+ but in absolutely no condition to play college ball even at Augie.

I guess I'm assuming there will be some good ones in that bunch. Looks like Minn. might be down in big guys next year, so it would be nice if ILL. and WISC. could pick up the slack.

Does he have Doug Lloyd speed? I'm pretty sure Doug was from Beaver Dam?
