No offense, Bison fans, but any 'cup' that treats the BCS title the same as the FB title is, prima facie, absurd.

I don't understand how points are awarded either. How can the Who be awarded only 5 points for their fine contribution to the world of hockey and their fine performances in the Great West conference in football and basketball.

I don't watch a lot of ESPN unless it's college football season...Is there another commercial running with NDSU on it?

This year we finished tied for 8th. I was confused though when I didn't see UND in the top 20 for their hockey NC. Then I looked at the rules and an FCS football title is worth 60 points, a D1 Hockey NC is worth 20. It's on the same scale as swimming, diving, etc.

So UND might want to give us a hard time for winning an FCS title, but the NCAA puts the Hockies well below that.
