Our $350 Menards special isn't terrible. Sure, it's not a Honda, but I don't usually hear it. Our neighbors on the other hand, is super loud...and surges like a mofo, that's the worst part.

I thought the menards one worked good for powering everything in the FC & outside and it was cheap. Who cares if its louder than a honda. You pay twice as less and you just have to turn the music up

Honeywell makes a good inverter/generator that can be had for 1/2 the price of a Honda. Just don't let Gully try to start it.
