Did a test run ---shrimp tacos with a cajun remoulade,---excellent, Jambalaya soup---wow, italian beef--excellent, Chipolte barbacoa--almost like the real thing, I am also thinking of clam chowder.

If you want to make it to Arkansas I will give you a heads up when I decide to try cooking something new.

I sent the camera in to Nikon for some TLC so it should be in tip-top shape for the season opener. Hopefully I will be also. I bought a new medium telephoto lens too. Nikon lenses are like a good gun - properly cared for they will last a lifetime. You can use a lens made in the 60s on a brand-new camera. At least that's what I tell myself when I plop down the credit card.

Yep. The camera remains good to go. I picked up a 70 - 300 lense to get in tight. And, I have been testing out some of my old lenses with the digital setup.

Only difference: no one has slapped a paternity label on me. Look at the bright side. You only have to pay support for 18 years.

    Looking forward to teh tailgates!

To all the fans of the outfitter sausage. I couldnt acquire any this year. SORRY. But I will be getting some jalepeno smoked sausage links out of TX this year. I had some at tailgate about 3 years ago and it is outstanding.
