nice job Bison...well done ! You guys played the best throughout the playoffs and deserve the title. A very nasty D can carry you a long way.
PS - looking back, we weren't as bad as you guys thought after that first game, were we?

The Bison team played an awesome series. I'd hate to play against the Bison D. As far as looking back to the JM game, I don't think so.
JMU was no where close to the best team we faced in the playoffs. Quick reminder... They scored their first TD on a catch that would not have been allowed with replay in the back of the end zone. (wasn't there a horrible pass interference call on Williams the 3rd down play before too). The second TD was on a trick play throw back to the QB because they couldn't move the ball on our defense.

SHSU was the best by far. Their defense really surprised me. They were almost as nasty as our guys. I've never seen our Oline pushed around like that.
Insert something clever here...
^^^^^^This. SHSU's defense played us just like our D plays other teams. They put their CB's on an island against our WR's and asked them to cover them just like we ask of Marcus and our secondary. Then they walked their LB's and safeties up close to the line and stuffed our O-line as well as any team has this season. Very similar to our defense's game plan the last 2 games and a very good, athletic team. We beat a very good team yesterday. We'll see them again in the future.
