New opportunity for Bison athletics on TV?

Just announced Fox Sports North Plus for the upper midwest. VP of FSN is looking to fill time with additional collegiate sports. I have always wanted an alternate FSN channel for our area.
Could be an opportunity for regional broadcasts of football and basketball.
Its up to individual cable/dish operators to carry or not

Dude this would be awesome if they started picking up Bison athletics! Specifically football.

This would be sweet -- I'm hoping DirecTv would carry it, since they carry all the other Fox Sports channels. I'd LOVE to see more Bison games without having to put up with #*&^&%^%$& All-Access...

I just watched a streaming interview with head honcho guy at FSNorth (he was on with PA). He said taht this will be a no charge channel that will be distributed to ANY cable/sattelite operator who currently gets FSNorth. There will be no additional charge to them or to the user. FSNorth+ will provide content 24/7 to these operators but it's up to the operator as to whether or not they actually air the channel 24/7.

I think that there should be some communication with Gene and NDSU to ensure that we do whatever possible to get these games on these stations. I would love to see NDSU football and basketball on a more regular basis here in MPLS.
