The toughest decision for Gene to make will occur if there is marked improvement in the performance of the team next season. People can differ on what the threshold is but it probably isn't as high as actually winning the Summit. What if the team comes close? That is a hard spot to be in if you are the AD trying to decide if you should go in a different direction.
Another year like this past one makes the decision easy.

I'd say if the team gets really close to winning the summit (regular season) then you extend her a year. If she does it again, 3 year extension. If the team isn't close, then she's done. My opinion is that a turnaround to a 20-9 season will be next to impossible.
I hope the girls make me eat crow, but I'm thinking I'm safe.

There was an article last week. Were 250k short but 3.25 million short when we figure inflation. They increased the size of the weight room and expect a shovel in the ground by fall after approval. Gene seems very confident a shovel is in the ground this fall. Need to keep those donations coming

I think were going to be a last place team. Were certainly closer to last place than winning 20 games.

Unfortunately, I suspect you are correct.
I've been around the WBB program for a very long time and I looked at our bench,
the players that won't be there next season, etc.
I don't see enough scoring potential (and other factors) to win 20 games.
