There are a number of stories.

The A-Sun is at the bottom of the heap.

The Southern Conference has lost 4 schools: GSU (sun belt), App State (sun belt), Davidson (a-10), and Charleston (caa).

They will add VMI from the Big South. They are also looking at Mercer and East Tennessee from the A-Sun.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

Sounds like Elon might be leaving the SoCon for the CAA too.

Again. This is why people need to keep their heads.

Going to dig up this thread due to some stuff being said over on SDSUFans. At a booster meeting two or three weeks ago, Aaron Johnston reportedly made some comment about several schools being interested in the Summit and that the solidity of the league would probably be secured this spring. That tidbit led to a discussion about who might be interested. Multiple posters replied that they had heard word that ORU is not all that happy in the Southland and has contacted the Summit to inquire about the possibility of coming back. The info is tenuous since there's a good chance the multiple posters may have gotten the info from the same source. Still, the discussion is interesting.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

UMKC is trying to make an attempt at pumping some money into their program. Municipal Auditorium in downtown KC has been renovated and they will play their games there this season instead of that God awful Swinney Rec Center....The worst college atmosphere I've ever witnessed. They are advertising pretty heavy to get some interest back into the program. Municipal Auditorium is a great venue and I hope they can get some support.
UMKC is 0-2 so far losing to Creighton last night and to DII Emporia State. Still a long way to go but they are trying.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

They probably thought to the casual fan if they put WAC on their floor it elevated their importance when in reality the WAC is a bunch of crap
