    Per College AD, Lindenwood seems set to join OVC. Announcment may come this week. Saw Central Oklahoma may make a move as well - dont remember source on that one though.

    I'm sure the folks in Lincoln will do anything they can to keep the Cornhuskers the only D-1 football team in Nebraska. Isn't that a big reason why UNO dropped football or was it just to lower the scholarship expenses when moving up?

    UNO's athletics budgets wouldn't support a move to DI and football. They picked DI no football.

    It makes sense. Omaha the city has more hockey history than folks realize and an FCS UNO wouldn't have a chance to draw fans away from Husker-doo an hour away.
