The school the Summit League should be targeting is Northern Colorado. I KNOW UNC IS NOT A SEXY SCHOOL! BUT its a realistic addition. It is the only school that fits the Summit Leagues geographic footprint and moving to the Summit would be a step up for them compared to the Big Sky. It would also give Denver an easy bus trip for a lot of games. Fort Wayne is most likely going to jump ship and we need to get another school UNC is realistic and most likely the best school the Summit League could acquire. UNC is 100% better than Auggie.

I agree on UNC, esp with Denver in. Not sure how DU would feel about that. Would be good for baseball and maybe the MVFC.

Id assume Augy would drop football if they ever went D1.

Makes sense for other sports but the problem is, would we want them for football? It's quite remarkable how the Big Sky passed on us for them and it's been all downhill for UNC since and all uphill for us. I think they would suck for football and would sit at the bottom with Indiana State and Misery State. Their facilities are the same as they were in 2004 as is their D2 type attendance, which the record crowds are still from the D2 days

Augie to the Summit is a horrible idea. The only other former NCC school that would make any sense is Minnesota State. They at least have some DI ready facilities and decent fan support. They would need to drop football to make it work much like UNO did though.

I would agree football is somewhat problematic with UNC and thus that makes UMKC a better option as they are in the Summit League geographical footprint and do not have football. (still don't understand why UMKC ever thought leaving the Summit League was a good idea, WAC travel costs have to be worse than they were in the Summit)

Maybe they thought Boise and BYU were still in the conference? Instead they get Chicago State and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley

Augustana is coming to summit according to Kelby krabbenhoft on Sioux Falls radio.

Time for NDSU to get serious about leaving. It's D2 all over. Mankato and St. Cloud and Duluth will be next

    Embarrassing

    Well, he's delusional.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
