    Summit mens soccer now at five teams, not enough.
    Need six to count it as a sponsored sport and for it to count as a mens team sport for DI conference status.

    Will this affect Summit baseball or will we have enough teams? Not a big surprise to see WIU leave.

    Edit: looks like we'll have 6 baseball schools left after WIU leaves.

    No help for men’s soccer here, but Lindenwood would be an interesting choice as a recent transition D1 team
    Swap Western Illinois for suburban St Louis…

    Agreed. Lindenwood has their sights set on making an impact athletically and they're committing resources to make that happen.

    They have quite the famous Summer Camp for football, so already have connections for future recruiting.
