Completely forgot that SUU had already left for the WAC...
I wonder if they can get a 12th school ? Any ideas who they could target?
I don't hate the additions but I don't love them either. They don't do a ton geographically in Olympic sports but stabilize other sports but do add 2 respectable teams and improve stability in number.
I would prefer any combination of the 3 Texas school. Same time zone. Easier travel. Closer. Better recruiting area
Of course football needs to aim higher for a team like Central Arkansas. Tarleton would never risk bringing football to a dominant conference
Although I would trade Murray State for Southern Utah.. Murray is awful and ain't spending dick to improve football
A few years ago I would have said Northern Colorado but they quit caring about football. If anything they would be a travel partner for Denver

Even the possibility of the Utah schools being added sounds like Fenton is on the defensive instead of the offensive which is sad.
Those two schools bring absolutely nothing to the table other a live body keeping the Summit a viable conference if raided by bigger badder conferences.
