St. Thomas is exciting. Something tells me they will make the necessary investments to compete.
Does Augustana have the financial strength to do the same?

I'm okay with it. We've already got two. Have no problem with a few more.
My dream conference would be a bunch of land grants, but wharever.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."

Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
From an NDSU perspective Augie is virtually meaningless, the SF market doesn't mean a damn thing to us. So yeah, give us that sweet Sanford cash I guess but the SD schools have a lot more to lose.
All it takes is one to step up and say they don't want it. If I'm those schools, I would be pissed that Sanford is going to force them to add a school in their prized market and then give said school barrels of money to compete against them. Might be best just to find somewhere else to get cash.
