As you posted previously. You dont have a clue. While you are at Teammakers today ask GT about how easy and economical it will be to move forward with your plan. If you can pull yourself away from the mayor that is.

Its never what you can do, its what you cant do. Have they ever looked at the cost of adding a balcony to the corner? No. And maybe the dome would want to do it and use it as a revenue driver for events outside of football. Geez man relax.

As I said--take your plan to GT. Let us know the results.

I've watched a game from the corners... view is extremely obstructed. The supports are in front of the corners so your balcony would be behind them.

Best hope for an expanded FargoDome: Some breakthrough in materials science that allows for extremely cheap buildling.

I actually like the standing room. Seems like the view is great when the game is played at the right end of the field. But that's why I like the idea of a 2nd level deck above it. Your up higher and it could be a bar or some sort of club like they have at Target field. And the dome could use it for other events. Could they wrap a balcony in front of the support beam with the bar behind it?

I would send the idea to the dome. Not NDSU. It could be used for other events and turn into a bar for concerts or other shows too. Kind of a mezzanine level. If it makes sense the dome has shown they are willing to invest money. Video boards, new turf, tailgating lot, lights, etc... It could end up costing 20 million or less than a million, we don't know that. 4 support legs, railing, a platform, and stairs.
