What about 90's attendance... also when did we switch to tickets sold vs. actual attendance?

    Oh, and average/game vs. total.

Pretty sure that NDSU switched from estimated attendance to tickets sold. Maybe they did actual attendance when the Dome first opened?

This is great information when sue fans here at work tell me that NDSU "NEEDS" a game with the sue to boost attendance and the bottom line. Now I have actual numbers to reference.

While I think that NDSU and UND should resume playing (too bad every other year is the only way that'll work for now), the argument that NDSU is losing money on account of not having the UND game is ludicrous even though EVERYBODY in the media swears that NDSU is losing huge amounts of money on this... I remember Hammer and Tank trying to do the math on this one time - hilarious.

Suppose that NDSU and UND did play every year, I think you'd end up with more empty blue seats in the TM section because companies would buy season tickets based on the maximum seating they expect to fill for any one game (kind of like I buy bandwidth for Bisonville*.) Well, if that's 1 game out 12, then that's 11 games that a lot of those seats are empty and 11 games where non-ticket revenue falls off.

    * Which, btw, I have to take a serious look at.

I'm sure coach Bohl is loving the big crowds this year. Does anyone remeber what his take is on the gate? IMO, that was a key addition to his contract.

Sooooo, therein lies the real motivation behind him asking for a big, loud crowd on Saturday!! And he gets free TV time to promote/advertise for more money in his pocket. Talk about a racket!!!
