Fargo and NDSU are MANY years away from building any new arena/stadium/dome or whatever. Unless we sell our soul to someone like ralphy boy and even then I dont see it. West lot will be there for my lifetime

Lol you serious? In 2060 the fargodome would be SUPER old and NDSU could be 25000 students by then and fargo metro could be approaching 300-400k...

    Shortsighted?

When you give that land away to commerical developers its never coming back.

In 1960 fargo was 40,000 people. West fargo was 3,000 people. Moorhead was 20,000.

    The immediate metro was 70,000~.

2010 Fargo is 105,000. West fargo is 25,000. Moorhead is just shy of 40,000. Everything has more than doubled. Why shouldnt it again?

I said 25-50 years and also said 2060 in the thing you quoted. Once you sell it, its gone. I plan on living to atleast 70 years old... which would be 2059. I also would like NDSU to grow and prosper after I am long dead.

I'm pretty sure that by 2050 F-M's metro will be sniffing half a million and there will be a new stadium for the Bison. FFD would be 60 years old by then and the program would have outgrown it long before then.

Considering global warming, ND will be one of the most habitable areas of the country by then.

Will it be a 35,000 stadium with a retractable roof?

You are so wrong. Fargo will be the least habital place. Instead of 120 in the summer it will be 150, and instead of -40 in the winter it will be -80.

But people will stay, and proclaim our weather makes us better than everyone else, even though the local secretly hate the weather.
