I don't have the answer for either of those questions. We have an experinced team and hopefully they are somewhat healthy. I think it's imperative for Coach to build AND improve upon last year.

Agree.
I went to games as a student in the late 80s--early 90s and saw a very good product on the court. I haven't been to any games since the transistion started so cannot comment on our play. But it seems that it has taken too long to produce a consistent winning program since the start of D1. Not NC caliber but teams that consistently fight for the NCAA berth and win the conference.
IMO, consistent .500 teams are not acceptable at NDSU.
Are those goals too high for this program?
Since Dehoff has been here the team has finished lower and lower.
I suspect this is the make or break year for her. 4th year of a 5 yr. contract.
I suspect that when she and LD had a meeting last year it was *explained* to
her that the short bench was Not acceptable. <--- Dwindling fan base, too.
She finally got enough players to fill the bench!
The resources are available to make NDSU a top 4 in conference every yr.
